Our vegetable and flower starts, available from our local farm produce greenhouse, begin their journey from seed to seedling right here on our farm.
We carry more than 200 varieties of plant starts, including vegetables, medicinal herbs, cooking herbs, and native plants for your gardens. Additionally, we create ornamental and edible hanging baskets and containers for your smaller spaces.
At Fat Goat Farm, we are committed to using regenerative farming practices that are planet-friendly. This year, as part of our efforts to reduce plastic waste, we are transitioning our starts to being grown in paper pulp pots.
We encourage you to talk to us about our processes and philosophies, as we are always looking for ways to improve our footprint.

At our Farm Stand, you can regularly find a variety of local farm produce, including fresh eggs from our free-range chickens and ducks, homemade baking, espresso drinks, iced sodas, ice cream, Sweet and Stoked vegan popsicles, and Happy Gut kefir water.
Hills is well-known for its garlic, with our braids available seasonally, showcasing our commitment to regenerative farming practices. Additionally, we maintain an apiary of busy bees, whose pollinating efforts we cherish. While we leave much of their honey for them, we do have honey available when there’s an excess.
We’re also proud to feature our neighbouring farm, Valhalla Meadow, which offers delightful garlic syrup and spice blends, along with vegetable and flower starts.
Each day, we bring some of our herd down from our pastures to spend time on the hill at the farmstand, where they entertain anyone stopping by. While you enjoy our local farm produce and explore our vegetable and flower starts, we encourage pictures, a pet through the fence, and maybe even feeding them an approved snack.
Our goats love people, but for their safety and yours, we do not allow anyone to get in the playground with the animals.
Additionally, any dogs joining you on your visit must be leashed. No exceptions, as we prioritize safety while showcasing our regenerative farming practices.
