THE FARMSTAND AND NURSERY
Our vegetables and flowers starts, available from our greenhouse, begin their journey from seed to seedling right here on our farm.
We carry more than 200 varieties of plant starts from vegetables, medicinal herbs, cooking herbs, to native plants for your gardens. We also make ornamental and edible hanging baskets and containers for your smaller spaces.
We are pleased to be collaborating with McCormack Farm and carrying a limited selection of there apple and nut saplings this year.
At Fat Goat Farm we always try to use regenerative, planet friendly growing practices. In doing doing our best to not contribute to the plastic problem, our starts are are grown in paper pulp pots which are made in Canada.
Please feel free to talk to us about our processes and philosophies as we are always looking for ways of improving our footprint.

Hills is well known for garlic and our braids are available seasonally.
We also have an apiary of busy bees. We love our bees for their pollinating ways and leave much of their honey for them but do have honey available when there is an excess.
We have the privilege and pleasure of being able to feature our neighbouring farm Valhalla Meadow garlic syrup and spice blends.
LOOK FOR OUR GOATS ON THE HILL
Each day we bring some of our herd down from our pastures to spend time on the hill at the farmstand and entertain anyone stopping by. We encourage pictures, a pet through the fence and maybe even feeding them an approved snack.
Our goats love people, but for their safety and yours, we do not allow anyone to get in the playground with the animals.
Any dogs joining you on your visit must be leashed. No exceptions.
